Bennetts Motorcycles

I cannot help but look at the Honda CBR in a very different light. Paint this motorcycle red, put on some black trims and you have the “spitting image” of a Suzuki RF (although I do not recommend the RF as it is a touring motorcycle, of sorts). The 1997 design was yet again designed with the man/woman who wanted to streak across the town/city in a minimum of time. Excellent paintwork and it is clearly obvious that the machine was well looked after. Russell seems to have an eye for machines that are looked after and it certainly makes my reviews easier. What will sell this machine is the colour I am sure, it is quite rare to see nowadays.

The engine seems quite sweet and if you read my review on the 2001 CBR a few months ago, you will be quite impressed. The exhaust note is throaty but not coarse. The mid-range is still suspect and all CBR’s seem to suffer from a little under-power when going from 4th gear to 5th – why? I have no idea, because the engine is truly sound.

At £3000 and Bennett’s Motorcycles warranty/support, I am sure that this motorcycle will sell. This motorcycle was visually checked for any defects and found to have none. Due to the adverse weather conditions, I was unable to ride and test this bike fully.
